As I stepped into The Buttered Biscuit, I was immediately struck by its inviting atmosphere. The space is cozy and laid-back, striking an ideal balance between relaxed and vibrant. The attentive wait staff adds to the enjoyable experience, ensuring that every patron feels welcomed and well taken care of. Jennifer, the server recommended by regulars, certainly left a lasting impression with her delightful service.
The standout items truly showcase the establishment's dedication to quality. One customer raved about the Lila cakes—a triumphant stack of blueberry pancakes complemented by lemon curd and scrambled eggs. Meanwhile, I couldn't resist trying the honey Greek yogurt bowl, adorned with housemade granola, bananas, and a medley of berries—each bite merging texture and flavor seamlessly.
The biscuits are the heart and soul of this restaurant, and they do not disappoint. Guests have testified that these baked delights are the best around, with an array of butters and jams to enhance every morsel. The orange honey butter is a particular favorite that brings a radiant burst of flavor to the meal. An excellent companion to the biscuits is the savory deep south biscuit sandwich, featuring homemade pimento cheese and crunchy pickled peppers. It's a perfect showcase of Southern comfort food!
Of course, The Buttered Biscuit goes beyond merely biscuits; they serve up hearty dishes like the meat lovers scramble and the cajun shrimp scramble, both boasting generous portions. As if that weren't enough to tantalize the taste buds, their signature bloody Mary—with a custom salt and pepper rim—has been lauded as a must-try for brunch enthusiasts.
As I savored each bite, I couldn't help but appreciate the establishment's commitment to community, contributing to second chance programs. This not only enriches the local area but adds another layer of warmth to the experience.
If you're stopping by Bentonville, ensure that you carve out time to indulge at The Buttered Biscuit. It's more than just a meal; it's a delightful culinary journey where every dish tells a story, making it a true gem in the heart of Arkansas.
“ Wonderful breakfast/brunch place in the Bentonville area! Phenomenal food, eclectic menu, kind and attentive wait staff, and relaxed fun atmosphere that does not feel stuffy. She had the Lila cakes - a triple stack of blueberry pancakes with lemon curd and a garnish along with the side of scrambled eggs with cheese. I had the honey Greek yogurt bowl with housemade granola, bedecked with bananas and a berry medley. Ask for Jennifer! Overall, likely the best place to have brunch in the Bentonville area. ”
“ We had the best brunch at this place. We had to wait a little bit so we got iced coffees at the coffee window. The menu is amazing. Everything sounded so good. The biscuits are perfect and they have lots of butters and jams. Our family loved the raspberry spread and honey butter. I ordered the servant her bloody Mary and it was so yummy and they make their own salt and pepper mix for the rim that tasted perfect with the bloody! we also loved the red potatoes that was served with our meal. I personally had the deep south biscuit sandwich that had the best homemade pimento cheese and pickled peppers on it. Absolutely tasty! my family had the meat lovers scramble, and the cajun shrimp scramble both were yummy and very large portions. my daughter had Kickin Chicken, which was served with a bacon jam and she said that the chicken was so yummy. overall 10 out of 10 one of the best brunch places I have ate at we had great service and it was worth the wait. ”

“ Excellent breakfast! The biscuit was the best I have ever had! The orange honey butter was delightful! Our server Marissa was excellent and told us about them starting the biscuit at 4am and the gravy starts with a roux. ”
“ 5 star service! Out of towner here. I’ve visited 2 locations in Bentonville, both of which did not disappoint. Clean, cozy, appetizing. An overall satisfying experience. You gotta go for the biscuits but we were all pleased with the coffee too. As well as the gravy and I decided to try the chicken sausage and was pleasantly impressed. This is a must try spot, and a great place to rest after a morning hike. Plus they give back to second chance programs! We’ll be back to support the Buttered Biscuit the next time we’re in town! ”
“ Gluten-free options from my home area, in Indiana, are minimal. To see EVERYTHING can be made gluten-free, made my day. From the cinnamon roll, biscuits & gravy to chicken & waffles, all gluten-free, AMAZING! Service was TOP NOTCH, Kari was the best. To learn about Project Biscuit, this place won my heart. It's a MUST! You won't regret it. Run, don't walk! ”
“ Great Place! Great Food! And Great Service! Stopped here on the way Home from FL. It was like finding a hidden Gem. Our server was great and had great recommendations. The food was so delicious and the portions were perfect. The only problem is that we want to come back and this place is far away : ( and we can’t just go when we want. Thank You to the staff for a wonderful experience. ”
“ The place was busy for brunch which to me is a good thing, because it typically means the food is good. Can confirm it was great. Even with it being peak brunch hour we didn’t wait more then 10-15 without reservation. Definitely would dine again. ”
